A tale of two Brandon Flowerses (Floweri???)
The Killers released their new single today. Don’t know how I feel about it yet. But I do know how Brandon Flowers’ mustache feels. The answer is “tickles.” Sometimes I think the band put all their energy into Hot Fuss and then didn’t know how to top it, so they went in another direction. This song is good…not great. But you know there will be a bunch of good songs on the new album that absolutely kick ass. I think I need to listen another time or two to form my opinion.
Other Brandon Flowers is a CB for the Chiefs. If you’re unfamiliar with the Chiefs, they are an NFL team that basically takes the field and dances around the maypole for three hours before heading to the locker room again. I truly cannot believe how absolutely attrocious they are. I think a team of donkeys chewing on tin cans could advance the ball further down the field than they could. Although to be fair, I heard donkeys run 4.0 40s.
