Manny Being Banned-y
Manny Ramirez tested positive for banned substances and will be suspended for 50 games. Which is certainly no light sentence. There’s a long-held belief that the players that get caught are just too stupid to beat an easily beatable system. So I guess Manny won’t be winning any Nobel Prizes in Chemistry in the near future. But hey, the Royals have a two game lead in the Central. So whatever. We’re awesome.
